I’m a freelance Creative Director who specialises in conceiving and producing advertising campaigns and brand communications. From initial briefing right through to final delivery of the finished work, I provide creatively led, original communication solutions for businesses, organisations, charities and brands. I operate through all media, especially print, digital, broadcast and promotional platforms and utilise whatever emerging technologies are available to get my clients’ message seen, heard or experienced. I’ve learnt that often it’s a mix that gets the best results.

I’ve extensive experience in the advertising and media industries gained over 25 years. For the last fifteen I’ve worked in a top 30 advertising agency, half of which as Creative Director. I’ve also worked in the graphic design, print, newspaper and magazine publishing sectors.

My skills lie with idea generation, copywriting and crafting work to the highest standard. My modus operandi is big ideas. Above everything they are the essential ingredient of any successful campaign. It is this creative approach that makes the message compelling and the communications effective. I tend to work with companies, organisations and charities but can also work under a white label agreement.

As an advocate for education in the creative industries, I also lecture on the BA(Hons) Advertising and Brand Design¬†course at University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Swansea. Mac literate and proficient in Adobe CC Design Suite, I’ve a good understanding of social media and am interested in the opportunities new technology has to offer.
